KATY TRAIL, Missouri

The KATY Trail is a 225-mile long Missouri State Park running from St. Charles, Missouri to Clinton, Missouri. It follows the old railroad route of the Texas, Missouri, and Kansas Railroad (nicknamed the KATY) and runs next to the Missouri River for a good share of its length. It is crushed rock and is somewhat rough and/or soft in places. I suggest a hybrid or mountain bike.
